FAQ
Asked and answered
Everything couples and planners ask us, in one place. Can't find it? Write to us - we answer quickly.
Booking & availability
How far in advance should I book?+
As soon as you have your date. Shipped orders need at least 7 days of lead time so the cameras arrive comfortably early; popular spring and fall wedding weekends can book out weeks ahead.
Do I need an account?+
No. You check out as a guest with just your email. After payment, we email you a private manage-my-rental link that shows status, tracking, dates, and return instructions.
How many cameras and how much film do I need?+
Roughly one camera per 25–35 guests and about one photo per guest is a comfortable starting point. Every package already ships with two twin packs per camera, which covers that baseline, and our free wedding camera calculator will tell you whether your guest count and setup call for more.
Is film included, or do I buy it separately?+
Included. Package prices cover two twin packs of film per camera, which is 40 photos per camera, so The Note arrives with 80 photos, The Letter with 160, and The Love Story with 240. Extra packs are $15 for 20 photos if you want more, and if you'd rather supply your own film entirely, build a custom set and set the film count to zero.
Can I add cameras or film after I've booked?+
Usually, yes - as long as your order hasn't started fulfillment and we have inventory across your dates. Email us with your order number and we'll confirm availability and send a payment link for the difference.
Delivery
When will the cameras arrive?+
Shipped orders are scheduled to arrive 2–3 days before your event date. You'll get tracking by email the moment the box is with the carrier.
Can you deliver to a hotel, venue, or Airbnb?+
Yes - during checkout you'll tell us the destination type, and we'll collect the details carriers need (property name, reservation name, a responsible recipient). For vacation rentals we ask you to confirm the property can receive and store packages, since hosts differ.
Do you offer local delivery?+
In South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach), yes. Local delivery and free local pickup appear automatically at checkout when your ZIP qualifies, with shorter lead times than shipping.
What if the package is delayed?+
We build in a 2–3 day buffer precisely for this, we watch tracking on every order, and we'll contact you proactively with a plan if anything looks at risk.
The cameras & film
What cameras do you rent?+
Fujifilm Instax instant cameras - simple point-and-shoot models that anyone can use with zero instruction. Every camera is tested before it ships.
What if we don't use all the film?+
Sealed, unopened film packs are refundable, including the packs that came with your package. Leave them in the return box, and after inspection we refund them to your original payment method at the price you paid.
Do the prints belong to us?+
Every single one. Only the cameras and unused film come back.
What if a camera stops working during the event?+
It's rare - every unit is tested before shipping - but if it happens, the instruction card includes quick fixes, and packages with multiple cameras mean the party never stops. Report any issue and we'll make it right.
Returns & refunds
How do returns work?+
Everything ships with a prepaid return label. Put the cameras and unused film back in the box, seal it, and hand it to the carrier by the next business day after your event.
What happens if I return it late?+
Late returns can affect the next couple's event, so please treat the deadline seriously. We'll send reminders, and extended delays may incur fees per the rental terms.
What's your cancellation policy?+
Full refund up to 14 days before your ship date, 50% refund up to 7 days before. Inside 7 days, email us - our team reviews each case individually and we're humans about genuine emergencies.
What if something is damaged or lost?+
Normal wear is expected and covered. For damage beyond normal use or a lost camera, we'll assess it during inspection and contact you before any charge - no automatic surprise fees.
